CWe grow with passion a centuries old olive tree grove on the Appian Way in Terlizzi, Bari, using traditional methods to obtain an olive oil free of chemicals harmful matters, absolutely natural and genuine.
Appian Way has been travelled by renowed characters as Virgilio, Mecenate and Orazio, during their diplomatic voyage from Rome to Brindisi, and by hundreds of Crusader heading for the Holy Land.
Down that road rises the olive tree grove healed with passion and respect for tradition since 1980 by Pileri’s family.
In our olive tree grove we still practice the traditional method of harvesting olives by hand.
We harvest only completely gained olives to not damage the product and to ensure the quality of our organic olive oil. Within 12 hours of their harvesting, olives are retted to start the production of our olive oil.
Our organic extravirgin olive oil is made with the tecnique of “cold pressing” to preserve all the organoleptic and healthy properties of the olive’s cultivar Coratina and Ogliarola Barese with which we make our organic extravirgin olive oil.
This valuable material is the base of entire our production.
